OH, Edward. I am almost uncertain of your point or what you are trying to ask. Is it related to evolution or geology? The earth is approximately 4.5 billion years old. Where you buy your science books? Do you know any geologists? Perhaps you should spend time learning some science. Do you really think that when the earth was on day #1 that it was suitable for vegetation??? Doesn't seem like you know much about the history of the earth.

An Australopithecine is not human, it is closely related to the genus "homo". If australopithecus afarensis was human, it would have a different name, wouldn't it ? Because one magazine in France refutes Lucy (exactly what are they refuting, by the way?) does not tell me anything. Have a majority of French scientists decided to abandon evolution? No, they have decided to support it.
Spoor and colleagues were referencing the semicircular canals in the ear. If you went to the Answeringenesis site for your "research", you will see a reference citing Spoor mentioning that australopithecines were not bipedal. However the research to which he was referencing claimed that they were only part-time bipedal (sometimes walked on two, sometimes walked on four). The wording in Answeringenesis may be intentionally vague.

You, Edward, are littering the comments section with what appear to be nothing more than the ramblings of an ignoramus.
Evolution is taught as a theory because it is a theory. You appear to lack not only knowledge of biology and evolution, but also the scientific method. A theory is an explanation of a set of related observations/events. It is based upon a hypothesis, and it is verified by different groups of researchers.

What sinks is evolution. How can you JNTB believe in a theory that everthing evolves when there's fossils that are 200 million years old that can still be identified by living creatures of today? At least answer this HOW can a crocodile foosil that is 200 million years old is still around ,when Australopithecus lived 3 or 4 million years ago evolved to man today possibly make sense-shouldn't the crocodilies look any thing BUT crocodilies? My resource: Noel Chartier. ( PS. shit doesn't sink- it floats.)

This article is bias,after all he turned to resources(TalkOrigins) that share his view.This guy is credulous.He also seems to pontificate over creationists. evolutionists geological time scale holds no water due to the fact that polystrate fossils have been found all over the world-which onlt means that the Genises account is true. How can trees NOT decay when exposed to air for million of years while waiting to be covered in sediments .
