Rational Activism at Work
(movie vocoder by Onesimus)
No, I don't love it. I hate it. I'm not in it to win, I'm in it to find the truth. *Everyone's* stupidity bugs me. -The Barefoot Bum
While you hold on to your wishful thinking about eternity, you are passing up everyday opportunities to fully immerse yourself in the very real life in which you find yourself. -Madame Zora
Frank: Name me something that is both measurable and supernatural.
Procrustes: The length to which some people would go to try to prove their god exists.
You challenge us to read the bible. Many of us have, and many of us have tried to teach others, just like you are, from that very bible. Then, we actually read the bible. And we actually thought about it, and life, and everything, and then reasoned instead of rationalized. I challenge you to do the same. -Procrustes
We rational activists look to make future better for humans, (not our post-mortem selves), and, in doing so, see the necessity to show others how important it is to deal with life rationally, so that life, itself, can be cherished and made better, not in anticipation of some fantastical afterlife, but in hopes that we and generations to follow will be able to live better, freer lives, out from under religious oppression and persecution. We look to the past to remind us of what happens when religions get the upper hand, and we motivate ourselves to communicate our thoughts to others in order to prevent future calamity. -Procrustes
